Royal Society Young Persons Book Prize Club
Children from Year 3, 4 and 5 took part in choosing their favourite STEM Book of the Year
This year we were very excited to be chosen to take part in the Royal Society Book Prize. The Royal Society send 6 STEM Books into school and the Book Club choose which is their favourite. The results are sent to the Royal Society and collected from over 400 primary schools.
This year Miss Eames was delighted to be chosen to announce the winner. Some classes managed to watch the programme live in school, whilst Miss Eames was in Bradford. There was lots of cheers when the winning book was announced as this was the same book that Sandfield had chosen.
The winning book was 'Planetarium' written by Dr Raman Prinja and illustrated by Chris Wormell.
