Science and Eco celebration 2019
Celebrating Sandfield's Food for Life Curriculum being silver!
We are very proud of the science and environmental issues that are covered at Sandfield Close. This year we invited some year 5 and 6 children along, with their families, to a celebration afternoon. We also invited some STEM ambassadors that have supported us throughout the year, Lisa Didier from Food for Life and the Grandmas who have helped us, Lee Jowett and Sue Holden from Leicester City Council, the City Catering team and Jane Faulks, Councillor Cassidy and many others.
Children prepared healthy snacks and we had a magnificent silver backdrop to celebrate Sandfield's Food for Life Curriculum being silver. We would like to thank all those that came along, apologise to all those that got very wet because of the heavy rain, and thank all those involved in the many projects we do to encourage science and a healthy lifestyle.
