Year 4 visit 'Holy Bones Guru Nanak Gurdwara'
Year 4 learnt about life of Guru Nanak whilst visiting a Gurdwara.
On Wednesday 12th June all of Year 4 went to visit 'Holy Bones Guru Nanak Gurdwara' to support the children's study of Sikhism and experience a visit to a sacred space. The children found out about the life of Guru Nanak from birth to adulthood and how he had a great impact on Sikhism. They also found out about the various rooms in a Gurdwara and their functions as well as what Sikhs do to follow their religion. The children were fascinated by the building and were amazed by the new facts they had learnt. All of the children enjoyed the trip thoroughly.
