On Tuesday 9th April 2019, children in Year 6 were fortunate to be taught by Dr Ian Billing who is a fossil expert from Derby University.

Children had the opportunity to look at fossils from different periods. They were then given the chance to carry out a fossil dig which required them to search for and identify the fossils.
