Young French teachers in Year 5!
Role reversal - children as teachers in an outstanding French lesson in Year 5
On 3rd April 2019, Year 5 were getting in to the spirit of celebrating Easter. The roles were reversed as some of the children became teachers and taught an outstanding French lesson to the rest of the class. The children researched about how Easter was celebrated in France and shared ideas and stories with the others. To conclude the lesson, the 'young teachers' taught words relating to the Easter festival, such as Easter egg (ouef de Paques) and Bunny (Lapin), and played a fun matching game to ensure the others understood and remembered their new french vocabulary. Well done year 5, watch out Madame Delesse we may have some new French teachers in the making!
