Y5 took part in a Lego competition!
Well done for competing with children from secondary schools!
Some children from Year 5 took part in a Lego competition on the 9th January. We are proud of their achievements as they were competing with children who were a lot older from secondary schools.
Children in the group shared a presentation about how the core values we learnt about were used during the lego lessons.
The children also shared a presentation about how they would construct and put together a better city which is more advanced and efficient. They also presented how they could stop problems that we have now in the near future.
Have a look at the photo below which shows the actual robot they built and programmed completing the work we set it out out to do WHICH WAS A SUCCESS. Gaining over 100 points! Well done the children from year 5 that represented SCPS!
Mr. Harris and Mrs. Sutton were very proud of the teamwork and maturity the group of children shared when presenting to such a wide audience.
