Y5 tree planting in the rain!

5AB were fortunate to be planting trees in the rain.

Tuesday 12th of November.

Tree planting in the rain!

This morning, 5AB and Caterpillar class from Reception had lots of fun planting some young trees around the edge of our playing field. They worked in teams of four to dig the holes, plant the trees and wrap  protective sleeves around the delicate saplings. It was very wet, cold and muddy, but despite this some of our lovely parents came along too to give their children some much valued support.

Mrs. Sutton liaised with Bethan from Enstruct Training, who work in partnership with Trees for Cities and is funded by Mothercare UK,  so that our children could plant trees.
