School Uniform & PE Kit

At Sandfield Close Primary School, we take great pride in the smart appearance of our pupils. Our school uniform helps build a strong sense of identity, belonging, and community. Visitors regularly comment on how well-presented our children look.

Where to Buy

Red sweatshirts and cardigans embroidered with the Sandfield Close logo are available online from Uniform Direct.

 All other items can be purchased from most major supermarkets or high street retailers.

Boys' Uniform

  • White polo shirt
  • Red round-neck sweatshirt (with logo)
  • Plain grey trousers or grey shorts
  • Plain black shoes

Girls' Uniform

  • White blouse with red cardigan or white polo shirt with red sweatshirt
  • Plain grey skirt or trousers
  • White socks or grey tights
  • Plain black shoes
  • Summer option: Red and white checked dress

Indoor Footwear

All pupils are required to bring black plimsolls to wear inside the school building. These are also used during indoor PE lessons.

PE Kit Guidelines

Indoor PE Kit

  • White T-shirt
  • Black shorts or joggers
  • Black plimsolls

Outdoor PE Kit

  • White T-shirt
  • Black joggers
  • Black sweatshirt or hoodie
  • Trainers

During colder weather, pupils may wear thermal base layers and are expected to bring a coat or jacket. Footwear must be supportive and appropriate for physical activity.

Jewellery & Safety

  • Small stud earrings that cannot be removed should be covered with tape
  • Religious bracelets should be covered with a sweatband
  • Studded boots or blades are not permitted, unless approved by a teacher or coach for a specific activity
     

Swimming Kit

  • Swimming trunks or costume (no loose-fitting shorts)
  • Full-length, long-sleeved swimsuits are permitted
  • Swimming hat and towel
  • All items clearly labelled and in a waterproof bag
  • Jewellery, including religious items, should not be worn on swimming days

Lost Property

To help reduce lost belongings, please ensure that all clothing, footwear, book bags, and lunch boxes are clearly labelled with your child’s full name and class.

While we make every effort to look after pupils’ belongings, the school cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged items.

Please note:

Unclaimed lost property from the previous term will be disposed of after the first week of each new term.
